Thank You Machka, i was thinking more of something specific to this forum, general terms and names of bike parts are not a problem, my concern is new folks(like me) coming into an environment that y'all are comfortable in and not knowing the "shorthand" in use...MUPs is pretty obvious and i had guessed that it was something close to what it turned out to be.. BSO I would never in a million years have figured out altho i do think it makes sense and is pretty darn funny

I don't think MUP and BSO are specific to this forum ... I'm sure I've seen them used elsewhere. MUP is quite common.
