Hunting for a stem

Internet searches have, so far, failed. I am looking for -17 degree, 100 mm stem for a 1 1/4” steerer tube. Prefer Al but CF will do. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any leads.

I think ControlTech made them so you'll have to do some searching. I may have something that's close to that in my old samples stash.

How close are you able to get in what you've already found? Quill diameter is most important, although you could shim a smaller one.

I was browsing a couple of days ago, and this seems to be a good place to start.

Of course there is also E-Bay, but I've had issues with sellers being sloppy with measurements.

Shimano makes one in their Pro line. They are available in 1 1/8 and 1 1/4 steerer sizes. You will probably have to have a shop order one for you.

Thanks for the leads. I’ll see what they yield.

I remembered wrong. The Control stem I found is off in every measurement; 1 1/8", 0 degree rise and about 140mm reach. I may have a second one but don't hold your breath. I'll keep looking.
