Campagnolo Zonda upgrade over Scirocco
I am currently running Campagnago Scirocco wheels and was wondering if picking up Zondas would be a noticeable improvement. I ride a Trek Emonda ALR 5, 105 gruppo, Continental GP 4000 tires in 28 size. I live in Central Florida so ride only flats, 15 to 30 miles at a time. Thanks in advance for your input.

I think you would be hard pressed to tell the difference even though the Zondas are lighter. I have a set of Zondas on one bike and older Protons on another and they have similar characteristics.
The Zondas do have cup and cone bearings but could anyone tell riding them? More of a durability and service thing.

The Zondas are one step up the food chain from the Sciroccos. They are lighter while the Sciroccos have a higher rim profile, making them more aerodynamic. In central Florida I doubt you're doing a lot of extended climbing, so the weight difference won't really be an advantage to you. At the same time you would lose a little bit of the aerodynamics of the wheels you're using now.
