Is this a real Raleigh/Carlton Professional

Hello guys,
I've found an ad for a supposedly Raleigh Professional. I'm not very familiar with the model and it's many variations, is it a real Raleigh (or Carlton) Professional?

Thanks

What is the serial number? The willow leaves suggest an Ilkeston build.

EDIT: it seems they also did the willow leaf in Worksop, and this could well be a ca 1980 Professional. Does the BB shell look like this?

Looks like one of those early to mid 80s frameset, made in Worksop and sold as frame only, many in the US through Michael’s Cyclery in Aimes, IA. I have a Gran Sport from that era with very similar characteristics.

Seatstay caps and lugs match those on my 1977-ish Team Professional, but beyond the color and decals, there are also differences. The serial number will settle quite a bit about when/where it was made (1980's sounds right), but there's no reason to doubt it's a very nicely made Raleigh built where the sticker says.

I believe it is. The lugs are identical to my 1979 Carlton MK5, with the exception of the bottom bracket. This frame appears to have the derailleur cable routing under the bottom bracket. And there are cable braze-ons along the toptube. https://www.bikeforums.net/21015725-post6.html

Here's a link, so you can check the serial numbers. https://raleigh-sb4059.com/2018/08/3...ucts-division/

Thank you all, I'll ask the seller for a picture of the BB
The paint style confused me at first, i hadn't seen any others with this style of ..pinstriping?

It has all the hallmarks of a Raleigh Pro Mk.V underneath the paint.

The paint scheme and decals indicate a 1981/2 UK model, but it isn't cataloged, not even as a frameset.

The same pinstriping and decals were worn by the Competition 12, Clubman, and Rapide during this time. Take a look at the catalog on Mark Bulgier's site: www.bulgier.net - /pics/bike/Catalogs/Raleigh82/

Agree with Kurt that this is a European market bike. The Dutch shop sticker supports this. The fact that it isn't catalogued doesn't mean much. I have at least one Raleigh that shouldn't exist according to those very same catalogues.

If you are planning on buying this, have a look at that rear top tube cable stop. I looks a little suspect from where I'm sitting:
