Replacing logo cap on shifter hood?
I lost the logo cap to an Ultegra (I think 6800 series) brake/hood. How do I replace it? I mean the little plastic logo part that snaps over the top of the handle.

Realize the economic incentive to import , stock & distribute small individual plastic parts is about zero..
hate to tell you , but that is the way it is..

I know the motivation is zero ... wishing there were a way to have someone simply obtain one and mail it. Fender once sold me a guitar with an improper trem bar, I called them, they sent the proper one. I'll try calling Shimano.

Do as he said , below ..

You know that Shimano NA has several US offices, right? I'm not sure how it is consumer facing, but working at a dealer their technical support staff are actually pretty knowledgeable and competent.
You can find specific replacement part numbers for Shimano components by searching on si.shimano.com and finding the exploded view diagram. For a right ST-6800-R lever, the part number is Y00E98020, which you can found sold online easily, like https://www.nashbar.com/shimano-ulte...e98020/p317228

fietsbob is right: if you are the OCD type, find a set of used brake hoods of the same type on eBay and canabalize.
