Fleece seat covers
Anybody here tried these? I'm still trying to tame my Brooks B-67, but I don't want to add much thickness.
Feel free to suggest alternatives. The B-67 measures 10" long by 8" wide.

To the OP, I didn't even know they made this so I looked them up. I am sure they will work just fine though trying to tame a B67 seems like overkill. Isn't the B67 the be all, end all of upright saddles? I own this one and couldn't imagine why it would need to be tamed but to each their own. Good luck.

Have to agree with the padded shorts but mainly because a cover sliding around on the saddle more of a aggravation than being controlled stitched in cycling shorts.

Use padded shorts, if you are not already. A fleece seat cover might feel good if your rides are no longer than a few miles...But for longer distances, that sounds like a recipe for saddle sores.

Just by the way, it's on a Day 6, which is as upright as it gets. And I still haven't given it a decent test ride.
Gel is what I was thinking, maybe an accessory pad that goes on over an existing seat, but they're all quite thick and I don't want to lose the nice low position it allows; I can now flatfoot the bike, whereas with the stock seat I had to scoot on and off it at stops. And the seatpost is bottomed out in both cases.
