Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Thank you for the nice compliment! It is appreciated, I put a lot of work into that frame and it's nice to have it recognized! It rides just as badass as it looks! Once I get above 18mph the aero effect is really noticeable, she climbs like she's on a cloud and descends llike it's on rails!! Thanks again!

Here's a couple pics of the actual bike instead of other angles like i originally posted. Pics were taken with my iphone so there not the greatest.

Sweet looking bike Spanky, what wheels are those. Look like Ksyriums but i'm not positive.

You don't think there might be a reason for that? I'm thinking it probably reminds you of those bikes because it IS one of those bikes.

Thanks! Yours is nice also.. you get in on the sale at CC?

They are Ksyriums.. the stickers got pretty marked up from some races that included some gravel sections, so I ripped them off. It's our way of doing a early spring rouboux type race.. not on this frame though.

You may have something there. But why the difference in components?

You are correct. I bought the Frame/ Fork and put the rest together with used parts. Almost as it was raced. They used Zipps when racing . They had Sram Red I have Sram Force group because I got a steal on it at $500 even though I wanted the RED, sometime the budget wins out. Also yes it was raced at the Tour of CA Tour of MO and many other races. If you look close at my second picture. It is autogrphed by Jeremy Powers. The bike actually belong to my 14 year old daughter who is a Jeremy Powers #1 fan. She has met him at a few races , He signed it `` Ashley Thanks for the support your awsome , Jeremey Powers`` It is a wall hanger, never ridden since I purchased it.
Here is a picture of Jeremy Racing the bike , getting a water bottle from his coach and the second picture is My daughter Ashley and Jeremy hanging out in St. Louis before a race.

Changed my bar tape and fixed the handle bar angle.

After:

My father and I also worked on our garage to make it look cleaner. Bikes used to be parked on the ground. Here's what it looks like now.

I got a Specialized Allez Compact M2 Apex. Love the SRAM shifting. Swapped out the black hoods for red ones.
