1,000 miles as of today. I know that's weak compared to some of the other numbers here.
Haven't ridden much for over 35 years. Just picked up the bike in March and really enjoy getting out. Goal by 12-31-2010 will be at least 2,500.

Over the last few weeks I really feel like my fitness has improved a lot. I’m riding faster and finding hills a little easier. My weight is down to about 136 which I haven’t seen since I was running marathons in the mid 90s. When I stopped riding last October I was at about 140. I lifted weights all winter and when I started riding again in March, I was up to around 152. I would guess the weight loss is about half fat and half muscle.
I really felt good on today’s ride: 45 miles @16.3 mph with 1830 feet of climbing. No wind helped a lot! It was a route I hadn’t ridden in a long time (road construction). It has a couple of hills that in the past have struck fear into my heart. I didn’t find them too bad today. Here’s the Garmin link if anyone is interested:

Only 1800 miles through July. Although that's only about 200-300 miles short of my normal pace. I blame rain; my Saturday group doesn't remember the last time we've had rides two weeks in a row. At least my average speed for metric centuries is up this year.
Climbing for me is not significant -- most of my centuries are less than 1500 feet of climbing, so even using 15 ft/mi I'd only have 27000 feet for the year.

Rode Sunday at my club Rally did 56.77 miles and ready to get out the door this morning for another 30 or so more miles up to 2,643 as of today.
It looks like at least 3,000 is doable but would like 5,000 for the year,I'll take what ever I can get.
Good riding to everyone-get out there and ride.
