I'm planning on doing it. Might need to find a ride up there though, as fiancee needs the car for wedding prep stuff

I'm a maybe. I'm pretty down over last weekend's races and it's a huge time commitment for me to get up there at that time.

You gotta scroll through the pages of all registrants one at a time as far as I can tell.

San Rafael was awesome last night.
Too bad for all the drama though - hope the Specialized/Swift guys are doing alright.

I heard Bahati was up to his usual garbage/chopping/fishtailing. There was a big crash right? Anyone hurt?

I'm hesitant to mention names because the details are a little fuzzy (Bahati wasn't racing though).
Ben (junior) seems to be doing alright. Thom was down for a while, and they had to bring an ambulance on to get him out. I believe he's doing ok though.

Facebook chatter suggests things got a bit elbowey and that led to the big crash that shut things down for a bit mid race. Was told the finish wasn't the cleanest as well and there was talk of relegation? Don't have much more than that.

Winters? Plan was to stay far away because hills. And if mattm is staying away, I probably should as well.
Looked up the profile. Past years are no good for me to go off cuz last year I was unfit at the time and blew up and out of a breakaway and got dropped. But the profile looks possibly manageable for at least one lap...

I'm probably a no go for Winters. I think I have fitness to sit in a flat crit and nothing more.
Guys were talking about the course and race tonight though. I don't recall the climb very well, but it is a 3 min climb, 45-60 second flatish section, and then the final 2 min (or so) kicker over the top??
I guess the P12 race is going to be pretty stacked. Quite a few heavy hitters that aren't pre-reg'ed may be in the mix. Heck, even the catch all 30+ 1234 field is looking strong.

How crappy parking for Giro is later in the day? Should I just come there early in the morning and chill out?
Thanks

Glorious in every way imaginable.
Think Dunnigan Hills with fewer hills, slightly better roads, way less wind, and much cooler temperature. The lone "hill" is a short little rise (less than half a mile) to the feed zone and might be 3%. The finish is on a little kicker.
With it being so late in the year, turnout is hit or miss, but the Chico guys usually show up with decent numbers. I think it's a fun race.

Thanks! It sounds doable, assuming I can make myself wake up in time.
I've never even considered Henleyville in previous years, but realized last night that I'm 5th in the p1/2 BAR points so thinking of squeezing out every last point I can before the season is over.

Last year's P12 looked rough with Jonathan Baker and other masters guys throwing haymaker attacks at CoreTech and Amain. Old guys won.

When I've done it it's been a semi lazy race. Nice and flat for us non-climbers, but damn it's far.
