I think the Roadlink was purely to clear the bigger cog when the chain began to pull the top pulley up and forward.
From what I recall, the top pulley was really too close for comfort.
Besides, there's no fun in certainty. It wasn't "meant" for Campy. Thus, he HAD to try it.

That's a fine looking MASI. I let a NS frame get away a couple of years ago and really regret it. Do we know who built that?

@AngryFrankie, I believe it was built in Italy, and painted in the US. I could be wrong, so please correct me if I'm mistaken.

The one I missed was I think a 10 Speed Drive imported MASI, and I seem to remember thinking it must have been a Billato Brothers built frame. Maybe very similiar. I really wish I had grabbed it. It's known that they were importing MASI, LEMOND, TOMASSO, and other brands of bikes, and painting them in the USA.

@AngryFrankie, I believe you're right about this frame being built by Billato Brothers. I couldn't come up with the name yesterday. I do know that they built some Lemond frames, from some posts by @jamesdak. He has some very nice Lemonds. My good friend @nomadmax has a Guerciotti that was a 10 Speed Drive import - it's being painted now and will be a stunner when he's finished.

Some of us are old enough to remember when 10 speeds meant the then-standard 2x5. 
With two "littermate" Capo Siegers, one nearly complete and original, the other just a frame and fork, and I am always watching for restomod ideas. Yours turned out very well. It has very practical gearing, and it is gorgeous.

I've installed the replacement pads in the Chorus holders, and replaced the Koolstops. The Vittoria tubs are on now, and I've updated the photos.

@tiger1964, not sure about the headbadge vs head decal. Could be a difference with the TSD imports vs the GC models. Maybe someone with more knowledge than me will help out.
