RecuTrike Touring
I'm thinking about taking the Blue Ridge Parkway through the Shenandoah National Park from the South entrance to the North entrance and possibly yoyo back. I don't want to use a trailer but just use bags. I already have the Catrike Bags. I saw this in another thread and would like to see any pictures of trikes used to tour without a trailer so I might get some ideas as to bags and how the trike is loaded with gear. This is what I have so far.

This lady has traveled thousands of miles on her trike, mostly unsupported. She came through Las Vegas on her most recent trip from Portland OR to the east coast of the southern US late in the winter. Travels By Trike
It's been decades since I drove through Shenandoah NP. The road was built way more than half a century ago and from my recollection is rather narrow with stone walls in some places. We came across a VW bug with both right tires flat after the driver hit that the wall in fog. I'd pick my time very carefully as the amount of traffic on the weekends would be mighty unpleasant were I riding it.

I take it "Recu" is supposed to be short for "recumbent" or "bent."
