Bianchi - fulcrub hub - silver ring addition?

Hi everyone, I have a bianchi 2018 infinito cv disc with ultegra 11spd. the hub is fulcrum racing 5db. In the picture below is a silver ring with two flat spots and it is knurled. It doesn't appear in the fulcrum hub manual. Anyway does anyone have a suggestion on torque specs for it. it came loose and the hub was floating around. the silver piece doesn't keep the cassette together just the entire cassette to the hub. I tried to post a pic but i dont have enough posts yet.

If the piece you are referring to which holds the cassette on the freehub is the "cassette lockring" (although they usually do not have flats) you need the appropriate cassette lockring tool to tighten it. See section 2 of this article: https://www.parktool.com/blog/repair...d-installation To remove it, in addition to a lockring tool you need a "chain whip" to keep the hub from rotating.

The silver ring is probably a spacer so that you can install a cassette with fewer than 11 cogs

The only silver thing on that hub is the axle end cap. It is not what I would refer to as a "ring". It is a threaded fastener. One of its jobs is to secure the freehub body onto the hub. I don't know what the recommended torque is, other than tight enough to not come loose again. In order to tighten it, you will probably have to hold the end cap on the other side with a wrench

You can post a pic on google pics for free, then post a link here, if you want.
