Thanks for the additional input guys. I ended up buying a couple of sizes and I will see what fits. I am a little concerned about the potential lack of padding in the tongue area and how that will work out with my lumpy foot, but I won't know until I try them on.

I am thinking of buying a pair of RC7s on sale in a nearby store, and I think I'll be trying a 45.5 or 46.
Shimano says 45 = 10.5 to 11 US and 45.5 = 11 US.

Though I would have gotten a 45.5 if the size had been available when I purchased my current shoes. I took them just a little too tight (as I do with all my shoes), but I hadn't realized these would not stretch over time like sneakers or other type of shoes. Road shoes are stiff...
