Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Ive never taken a picture of mine. I keep it stock, so I just show people the pics
from the Bianchi website if they want to know what my bike looks like.

Love it. I want it off this bike and replaced with Italian love, but the stem is the best pop-top ever. Looks cool too.

Pista Owners,
How well do these bike upgrade and how are they off the showroom floor? I have been toying with the idea of purchasing the pista my LBS has had for the last year and a half. I was going to upgrade my nishiki but I am considering leaving it a single speed beater and picking up the pista instead as my show/project/first fixed gear bike.
