Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Here, enjoy my pumpkin test photo - I think this is going to be the only viable Halloween pumpkin from the patch this year.

Thanks for that tip. My memory has gotten so bad that I don't remember, one day to the next, how I did something. My memory and my eyesight are going; the rest of me feels great. Nice pumpkin

Between that and the aerodynamics thread, the bickering on the grease thread, it is an extra special day on bikeforums.

Hey, I need some PC advice. I need to get a RELIABLE ssd for my workstation at work to upgrade it (install the new OS on the SSD) that will limp it along for a while.

What's something reasonable 1TB ish probably SAS or SATA?

Something that lasts a year or two then dies is not an option.

@Bah Humbug? @WhyFi? @Bueller?

The "My balls hurt," and "I can't make my heart beat fast" threads provided me with seconds of tedium.

I guess I've never thought about having matching roadie and MTB 'til I saw these up for sale together in the same place.

Samsung drives are typically the yardstick against which all others are measured.

So many versions, though...

Looks like $240 for evo, $380 for pro.

It make any difference?

When she got it back, I convinced her to go to Toyota and try a 4Runner with the third row. She wanted a third row. She originally thought she would trade the Q5 in for the Q7.

She drove a Limited 4Runner and loved it. She also loved that in this town, in five years, that 4Runner will be worth the same as the Q5 and is already substantially less now. I do think when Toyota redoes the truck, and makes it more female (her words) friendly, she'll get the remodel.

In general, no, I don't think that it's going to make much of a difference for you between Pro and Evo. I haven't looked at them in a while, but iirc, the Pro drives are going to be a little better performing and have better write endurance, but nothing that would be cause for concern with typical usage even over the course of several years.

Sad!
