1983 Custom with SL/SP tubes. Cold set the rear spacing to 130mm and added the NOS 7800 in 2014. That seat bag is embarassing and I finally admitted I to myself that I hated the B17N and replaced it with a proper racing saddle. Oh, and the top tube is horizontal and the front wheel is actually circular.

I Roll My Own...

Well, sorta... My favorite thing is to buy a nice frameset for a good price and then build it up the way I like. It is a fascinating field of study, and really enriches the cycling experience for me when the bike I build actually rides as well or better than intended. This is the case with my latest, a 1985 Specialized Sequoia:

I started with a Quality frame and stayed with that theme throughout the build. No Campagnolo here, but the Shimano Deore - Sugino drivetrain works perfectly for light touring. The 650b conversion allowed me to run the larger tires I need to cope with my state's appalling lack of road maintenance. What do I pay taxes for again? At least the bike trails are pretty decent.

Very nice! Slam that stem and post it in the hot or not thread! Though I think the Ultegra cranks are a bit unsightly ( I have them on a bike)

I'm surprised you think that, they seem a good match for the bike and don't look at of place at all.

Here is the bike I usually commute on, in my cluttered office. It's a 1974 Raleigh International. It came to me as only a frame and fork, so nothing on it is original. I also painted the frame and fork.

3x10 drivetrain
dynamo front hub with front and rear lights
front rack
soon to have fenders
Brooks C17 saddle
mustache handlebars with leather tape

Here is the tandem my wife and I ride. I am 57, and she is about to turn 67. We don't usually haul the trailer. In this shot, we were taking a combo errands and pleasure ride. It turned into the toughest 12 miles I'd ridden in a while.

2002 Burley Zydeco with 3x7 drivetrain
26" MTB tires
front basket

That is a very nice shade of blue.

The rim labels could do with some shrinking though.

Yes, the frame was custom from R+E Cycles AKA Rodriguez in Seattle. I built it up myself.

https://www.pedalroom.com/bike/2018-...z-custom-37179

Rodriguez also makes geared bikes with freewheels for the lazy.
