More Seven Axiom Race Pics
Finally finished everything up. Got rid of the Cosmic Elites, Ti spacers came in, etc. I admit, I know more about cycling than photography so I readily apologize for the less than stellar pics.

Nice bike Sushi Joe, how much does it weigh as shown? Also, what's up with that fat looking seat, who makes that?

18 lbs. The saddle is a Terry Fly. Fits my sit bones nicely! Definitely not a featherweight, though.

That's one sweet ride Sushi Joe. I like it. Every time I ride my Ibis Ti I get psyched. You just can't beat it. What a great feel. Nice going back and forth between CF and Ti too.

shedding fat
Extremely nice ride. I don't particularly care much for Ti bikes, but this one has a certain taste and appeal. Certainly very classy and nice. Good gruppo combo as well.

Again, thank you very much! I've always had a soft spot for orange and blue. When I picked out a scheme for this bike, I almost always knew what color it'd be. As far as the group, with an 18 lb. bike, I couldn't justify spending the extra dough on the Record crank and cassette, especially when I already had the Chorus UT. Record cassettes on the other hand are just obscenely expensive. The non-skeleton Chorus brakes were on closeout for $88. Hard to beat!

i jam my thumbs up and back into the tubes. this way i can point my fingers straight out in front to split the wind and attain an even more aero profile, and the usual fixed gear - zen - connectedness feeling through the drivetrain is multiplied ten fold because my thumbs become one with the tubing.

How well did the fitting process go? Any improvements on the fit?

The fitting process was great! Steve at my LBS took about 2.5 hrs. with me getting everything right, down to the millimeter. Tedious, yes, but well worth it. Seven then suggested a frame with similar geometry to my current bikes with a slightly taller head tube [think Cervelo RS], and a slightly sloping top tube [6 degrees].
My stem length then went from 100mm to 120mm and my saddle came down about 1.5cm from where it previously was. Now, I can fill my lungs with oxygen equally whether I'm in the drops, on the hoods or on the tops. It's actually fantastic, even though, with the larger frame and over-sized tubing, it's no featherweight. That's what I still have my Orbea Opal for, I suppose.

I enjoy the colour scheme - it's refreshing from the usual lot.
