Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It’s like a metal grey ish silver. What other details do you want.

Hopefully will have some Hunt Aerodynamist wheels on it in the near future.

That’s all. Pretty much know the rest. Color is the most important factor in buying a bike.

Saw Trek’s Meteor gray with red the other day, and like it a lot. From the pic, it looks similar.

The Hunt wheels will be nice. They say optimized for 25-28mm tires. Going 28s or something else?

best feature is that free crash replacement warranty. 😁

The latest heat wave is ending after only a few days over 100.

Weird thing is Hurricane Hilary is sending us some wind and rain soon. They're even issuing flood watches and predicting the most rain for August in history.

Although this guy is based in my 'hood, the info he posts is really good, and would often be applicable to you. He's been talking about Hurricane Hillary for at least a week, and how it is expected to affect our area.. https://www.facebook.com/groups/996250684397192

Gunna try and go for a bike ride with the wife tonight. It will be the first time in over 1.5 years that she has been on her bike. Finished cleaning it, waxed it and checked function. Just have to lube it and it’s GTG.

Before that, Was going to make a dump run. Had some old baby toys that have been lawn furniture for too many months. (Side of the house by the trash can) but it still looked awful. Threw both pieces in my van and was about to take off when I noticed a whole colony of ant awaken. Had to rush to get the pieces out of my car and vacuum them all up.

Gonna try to bookend some miles around the club ride tomorrow, aiming for 5ish hours. I may pull the plug and shortcut home 30 or 45min earlier than that if I hammer too deep on the ride, which is always a possibility. Riding over Sunday and Monday looks like it might be in the garage.
