Lightweight Aluminum Wheel-set Recommendations?
Hi All,
I am currently building a road bike and am in the market for a set of light weight aluminum rim brake wheels. I am eying the DT Swiss PR-1600 21's and actually had a set shipped over to me from Merlin's, but the wheels were damaged in shipping. Those weighed in around 1500 grams.
Any other wheels you guys would recommend or have had experience with that are light and aluminum?
Thanks!

HED Ardennes Plus Black Edition.
I'm selling a lightly-used set with tires, if interested.

Those are outstanding wheels. I have the non-Black Jets, and I love them.

Psimet wheels - handbuilt by the man, the myth, the legend. Rode the crap out of them on broken-ass roads, rain, etc. Never had a problem with them. And cheaper than pretty much all commercially available wheelsets, atleast at the time.
