I can see this being popular, especially in cities where locking bikes means waiting for the day they are stolen. If you can take it in your office (maybe not fit under the desk, though) that's a real advantage. And full sized wheels and mid-drive
should make for a sweet commute. Pricey @ $3599 but not worrying about theft is priceless.

All good except for the 55 pounds, but a non folding Trek mid drive is the same weight.

The weight is somewhat less important since it can be rolled. However, it should be possible to produce a much lighter full sized e-folder with modern technology without it costing a fortune.

I haven't seen many full sized folders of any variety - and someone comes on here every so often asking about them. I do like the fold on this. It's not something I would buy but I can definitely see the appeal to the right person. As I mentioned, bike theft is a huge problem in major urban areas, and this would relieve a lot of stress.

Need to look at roll ability.
My Montague Paratrooper is really more luggable/stashable and rolling it is not graceful , as the wheels are not parallel.
I have a Dahon Matrix as well with same issue. Both ride nice when deployed.
this one has an offset hinge, but how offset? Enough to really roll?
This is a common foldie issue
Again I break foldies into : Luggable, stashable, packable, rollable
All are very distinct styles and overlap cannot be assumed.
Lug gable really needs a cart to roll more than a few feet

Handlebars need to be able to fold, and Montague isn't exactly known for having a quick solution to that. Nice bike though,...but too pricey for me. Especially nowadays.

this is 1000w and at that power feels too light at speed. witha rear racked batteyr it would fold easily as well.
