Spent the day on Zoom

Gorgeous day. Had to listen to a 6 hour thing for work.

I thought about doing the checkered wrap and chickened out. Tan and yellow tape with amber shellac makes a lovely color.

I like this way better than an in person symposium.

RF, So you turned the camera and mic off and worked on the wrap.....good thinking.

It was like a 500 person zoom call. I was only required to listen. Only the admin had the camera on.

My neighbor probably thought my choice of driveway radio was a bit odd. Don't we all listen to monotone lectures on intra-op antibiotics for fun?

On eBay, probably Amazon too, you can get Jagwire branded cable sets for dirt cheap. In almost any color you can imagine. The Ironman in the background has the same setup with white cables.

I would never make the argument that these cheap sets are as good as modern cable sets. I'm pretty sure that they're as good as anything available in the 80s or earlier, so they make a good swap.

I've considered getting some ultra fantastic slick cable like those crazy all synthetic ones, to try to optimize the single pivot brakes but it's a high cost for almost no gain.
