Zeus Track Hub lock ring

Hello all. After going through my parts bin I came across my old Zeus track hub. The hub is not stamped BSC near the Zeus logo on the hub body. The lock ring went missing years ago and I’m looking for a replacement. The cog thread is standard BSC but the lock ring is non standard. I have tried the Mavic lock ring as well as a 1.29 x 24 neither of which work. I’m left with Campy or what Sheldon Brown suggests French 33 x1. Before I pop for the 33x1 does anyone out there have any experience with this hub?

No experience with track hubs, but a suggestion you post this same thread in C&V.

Welcome to BF. Again. Deja Vu?

Search for Vitasport Cycles in Calgary, AB and contact Mike. He may have what you need as he has a stock of old Zeus bits. Good luck with your search.

I have a Zeus track hub purchased in about ‘75.
Sometime in the late 70’s I stripped it going down a hill. Not knowing any different, I replaced it with the only thing I could find, a Campy lock ring, English thread.
I have not had any problems since and the hub was used regularly for #0 years.

From the description provided sounds like it must be metric thread, 34.7mm pitch diameter.

A BSC lockring will start on a metric thread but a metric lockring will not start on a BSC thread.
