I'd sell it as a frame.

Thanks! That seems to be the feeling. Let the new owner geek out on the build.

How much did it cost you to chrome the forks ?
Since frame to small why make that investment ?

I was told the bike was a 58cm when i bought it, got it home and stripped it down, the forks had been spray painted silver to cover the pitting on the chrome, and it is a 57cm. It was $65 to have the forks re-chromed and I knew it was worth the investment to make them look this nice, and then be able to *hopefully* get my money back.

Where in this country did you get a fork rechromed for only $65?

I had it chromed at Quality Plating in Yuma, CO. 970-848-2065. Ask for Lowell. He did an amazing job, I could not be happier!! Maybe two weeks total, door to door!!
