Could you be more specific and/or generic? Ie, what length spindle and symmetrical or no? I know I have a BB from an 87 Schwinn SS but it was a 600 EX group. Probably doesn't matter for the BB but I'm not an expert.

I have Araya rims that look like it but I don't know what models they are. One of them has no model printed on it.

In reading further it looks like the need was for just a fork crown so it could be reconstructed. The fork I have came out of the Madison co-op off a bent up track bike. It is a standard replacement fork, with the following tag: PN3715005 700C Universal 17"-19" Front Fork CRMO. C.P.
It has some rust on the crown bottom, but appears to be none damaged because of the rust. Brake requires a caliper. Smiles, MH

ISO Ritchey type 9mm Through "Straxle" axle

ISO Ritchey (or equiv) front 9mm diameter axle. This is exactly the axle, as shown. I'd order one but c'mon, $32 for it?

It's 11.05 shipped, which seems quite reasonable.

Steve,
If the spindle is hollow, use a long drill bit that passes through the spindle you will be drilling in the same direction as pulling the broken threaded section form the broken side. Before drilling, gently warm the spindle with a torch around the broken bolt and then try using your drill. You may get lucky and have the broken bolt spin out of the spindle. Smiles, MH

I will pass this info along as I no longer have the bike. I put another model 93 on the bike with 52t 42t rings and a 118 spindle. I gave him the complete triple as well. He has lots of options. He could always remove the 42t and put the 38t on the double and forgo the triple if the need arises. The triple is just cool because you get half step plus a bailout 38 t.
