Mount Washington Auto Road Bicycle Hillclimb
VeloNews calls it a “Ride of a Lifetime.” Known as The Toughest Hillclimb in the World TM , this 7.6-mile uphill race to the summit of the highest peak in the northeastern United States is the biggest annual fundraiser for the Tin Mountain Conservation Center. The race supports Tin Mountain’s work promoting an appreciation for the natural world while instilling the bedrock principles of sound stewardship and sustainable lifestyles. Entry fees help support Summer Camps, School Programs, and Community Programs for both adults and children.

it's an internationally known event, but many don't know if actually a fundraiser for a local non-profit.
