Making a kilometer blurry
we all do what we can. I also seem to make more stupid tactical mistakes than most people, but I'm happy to be in a position to get a really good result when I play the game well.

dude - buy it, frame it, set in front of trainer...
that's an awesome shot.
That's great to see - hope your season has gone well, I haven't been around much to hear about it.
great shot - real suffering there
you apparently haven't seen the wattage he puts out? he seems to be doing quite well as-is.

This is what happens during a TT ("Eddy" class, i.e., no aero equipment) when you get a herniated disc flare-up the day before and you terribly underestimate the elevation gain on the 2nd half of the course. (who am I kidding, I woulda sucked anyway) Definitely not a slippery TT position. I wasn't DFL, though!

Thought I throw some Crossroads Pictures up of suffering.
1st up: Masters 35+ Ryan J pulling the field back up to a break. I think some behind him might be suffering.
Ryan is a TT Champion. If the pace needs to be high for a long time, he's the man to do it. He's a good guy to train with if you want to motorpace. I've done it and paid dearly for trying.

I miss M35+ weekend racing. Those photos illustrate exactly why I got back into racing. Stoopid 40+ rule.

There's something getting ready to happen in this photo of the Cat3 race in Mocksville. I missed it by a foot or so.

P/1/2 race in Concord right after the rain. I think this is my good friend Will.
Another one:
This guy caused the suffering.
Aldo won 3 out 5 races at Crossroads, got 2nd at the Charlotte Pro Criterium, then won Hanes Park.

No M35+ or C3.
But cycling news did the P/1/2

Here's our Cat1 guy Ben Faulk.
Here's a great write up with a lot of photos of Aldo Ino Ilesic's Hanes Park win:

I had the rare opportunity to ride with him one Sunday. Very soft spoken gent with a nasty, nasty sprint.

There's at least one guy from that team who lives in central NC. The others who were here for Crossroads may have traveled down, I suppose- we had a couple of guys from my team go up for Superweek.
