Colorado 72 (Coal Ck Canyon) open to bikes with new 4ft shoulder

CDOT announced in the past week or so that they're done with the long project to rebuild flood damage in Coal Ck Canyon and now we have a 4 ft wide shoulder on the uphill (westbound) lane from the mouth of the canyon to Crescent Park (my understanding is that is the road up to Gross Reservoir). [edits below after actually riding the route this morning]
-- Well, the shoulder is 4 feet wide kind of like a 2 x 4 is 4 inches wide. Still, it's a significant improvement over what it was two years ago.
-- More accurately the widened shoulder ends at the little commercial area called Crescent Village on some maps. It's where the fire station is, just uphill of a couple of gas stations.
