What folding pedals will fit Downtube Nova? 9/16" or 1/2"
Hi,
Please excuse my ignorance. I bought a Downtube Nova for $80 today. It has a broken left pedal. I'm trying to get a folding pedal from Amazon, but I'm confused by the size. Most folding pedals on Amazon seem to be 9/16". I measure the broken pedal. Its size is between 1/2" and 9/16". Just want to make sure I get the right pedals from Amazon. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Luke

There is no size between pedal between 1/2 and 9/16. Did you mean it is one or the other? Go buy a cheap plastic caliper and measure the outside diameter of you pedal and your will have the correct answer. Roger

The Recumbent Quant
As far as I know, only children's bikes use 1/2". Every adult crankset I've ever seen is 9/16".

MKS Ezy pedals come off, QR, rather than fold..
I like Brompton's folding pedal .. left one is standard on the bikes
they have nicely machined a core piece that goes thru it's big bearing and screws into the crank arm
they are making that core piece in both pedal thread, LH & RH. same pedal otherwise works on both sides.
