I thought about it, but the center-pull brakes were a turn off. I used a Fog Cutter disc instead and set it up for dual duty as a commuter and gravel bike.
Soma just released a new a new Fog Cutter last week.
There's also a Soma riders group on Facebook -- lots of great info sharing there.

I love rim brake bikes and Soma makes high-quality stuff. Personally, I'd opt for a frame that takes cantilevers or V-brakes, just to have more tire width options -- something like the similarly-priced Surly Cross Check, for example.
