My bike

I had this GT Karakoram frame rebuilt. Anyone know of the year by looking at it? Thanks! I’m new.

A serial number would help ppin it down. Also, what parts are original, if any.
My wild guess is 87.
Changed my mind once I saw the fork wasn't original. 1990.

Based on the decal set, I'm going with late 80s, possibly early 90s.

Post a serial number. Check for 2-letter date codes on the derailleurs and back of the crank arm. If they all jibe, there's a solid chance they'll pinpoint the year.

There are some 1988 catalog pages a little ways down inside this thread if it's interesting, for extra info. https://www.oldschoolracing.ch/mount...-gt-avalanche/
