New to EVERYTHING
Hello, my husband just recently gifted me a Bianchi Super Pista 49 because I have had a huge interest in velodrome for a while & well finally putting things together. However, I'm lost as far as starting where to get parts, which brand is better performing than another & how they all differ, all in all I just need help in finding parts to finally have a go at the velodrome (: & I thought perhaps the nice people at BikeForums would help. Well, I'm sure there are other forums out there, this is all just too overwhelming & in my search for building my bike BikeForums was the first to pop up.

Hi and welcome to the sport and to the forum.
Bikeforums is sort of a small group of talkers and a really, really large group of watches (not a bad thing).
It's a great site for beginners to ask questions...even questions that have been asked a million times before...because sometimes the answers change!
Have a look at the threads on the first 2 or 3 pages here, especially the ones that are stickied on the top. That should keep you busy for a few days.

Welcome... Track riders are usually very friendly. our weekly racing scene suddenly has 'Track Snacks' where people bring home made goodies or fruit to share between races...
I have met some amazing people at the local Velodromes.

Welcome.
What is your local track? More than likely there will be a member or two here who ride there and could give you the low down.
