Yes, and the fact that they throw off wheel balance.

Look is more important than ride quality.

It'd be cool if it was a Tesla valve: https://www.cnet.com/news/nikola-tes...e-sense-today/

yes, shrader has an 8mm hole in the rim where presta has a 6.5mm hole. Presta valves fit shrader holes, but you might want to get a set of “grommets”—spacers so the 6.5mm presta valve fits snugly in the 8mm shrader hole. Most any bike shop will carry grommets for a buck or so.

There is a adapt screw on thingy for the Presta valve that changes it to a Schrader valve...any bike shop has them. Doubt that WallyWorld has it, but ya never know.

I use bulk Chinese tubes as often as possible. 2 seasons ago I found a 15+ year old Price Point branded tube. I threw it it a brand new tire. A few months back, I replaced the tire and the generic, ancient, chinese tube was still in there doing it's job. You are wrong on this one.

I've done several rides with caps in almost 50 years of riding presta tubes. Never saw a plus to using them, just another task to do (and undo). Every cap I don't lose doesn't end up in some animal's stomach. Now if I could just find a use for my bag full of them.

The highest and best use for a valve stem caps once removed for tire installation is to replace the cap that comes on Drislide Bike Aid to prevent the admittedly slow evaporation of the carrier mineral sprits that I am constantly loosing when I shake the container trying to get that little ball to mix the molybdenum disulfide with the carrier.

I came to regret throwing all of my valve caps away when I organized my spare tube collection and needed a few to roll up the good ones. I wish I had known you had extras, ended up spending about $1 on eBay to buy a small bag of them.

With several hundred pounds of seed, you could start a plantation, and sell it using infomercials on late night TV.

I would do this myself, but I'm already rolling in dough.
