Recumbent What IS that thing?! Recumbents may be odd looking, but they have many advantages over a "wedgie" bicycle. Discuss the in's and out's recumbent lifestyle in the recumbent forum.

Went to the bike shop for a few parts and came home with this machine, the Terra Trike Maverick, I have a few recumbents and upright bikes but no trikes, For $1199 assembled and set-up, it's pretty nice, I zipped it around a few times in front of my house and it rides nice, brakes well and handles good. It'll make a nice trike for my wife and brother to try on the trail. I like it

Dear Wife wanted a bike/trike. I wanted her to get something like that, but she chose a cruiser (upright.) Oh well...

One of the lowest-prices recumbents you'll find, but "a lil bit expensive?" There's always used, or BYO (build your own)...

Alas, recumbentbikes was officially deemed a spammer and has been banned. I think he joined the Bacchetta forum under another name. Very little traffic there.

I suspected that to be the case but wasn't curious enough about it to research. How could anyone with "recumbent" in their alias not know about comparative recumbent prices?
