Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Infinitely more than doing none if you divide and virtually no effect if you subtract.

You're probably joking but last week I did two sets of five push-ups. And it's the first ones I had done in months.

I've been doing 3 sets of girls push ups after my trainer rides for a couple weeks now. I can now do a set of regular push ups for my first set of 10.
V.V. military press and pull downs on a curling bar machi e would help with your pull up regimen. Also do chin ups, easier.

Not joking. Just tried and I managed one. I'll try again tomorrow.

Don't forget, I'm old and overweight and have my own litany of bodily defects. I did manage a max power of 813 watts on my ride today, 3 second power was 677 watts, so it depends which muscle group we're checking, I guess. Leave my puny arms out of it.
