I really shouldn’t look at coffee shops that like bicycles

Someone I follow on Twitter posted a Monday morning photo of a coffee shop (I thought the person was in Italy but could be Italian in Paris). So I got curious and followed the path to the source of the coffee shop which is called Fragments.
Then I see this bike, then I see it is or was for sale, and it just re-kindled my desire to have a funny bike even though I probably would not ride it much if at all. I’ll be lost in daydreams all day now...

Lots of guys have bikes that are mainly wallhangers. Nothing wrong with it if you can afford it and you have a special place to hang it. My Torelli Pista only gets ridden a few times a year these days when I take it to the velodrome, but I do love having that bike hanging in my garage and have no plans to sell her.

Here the Building owner subdivided the building, which used to sell cars, in it.. and put a Bistro-Espresso shop in what was where the bike shop put its repair bikes..
on street level

so those bike hooks went into the overhead in the basement... The Bistro is doing well .. for the Tourists , used to paying big city prices .. the prices are familiar..

I really like the way he routed those brake cables. I wonder how the braking action is?

The coffee shop owner here was formerly an LBS owner (former Schwinn too) and merely converted the building. I bought my only two new bikes in that building from the previous owner of the Schwinn store, a '92 Heavy-Duti and 1995 deluxe springer.

He has a Panasonic and two reproduction Schwinns hanging on the walls...and a traffic light that tells you when the restroom is in use

I had looked at one of those TVT Carbon frames a while ago, but couldn't get one for the right price. I ended up going with steel instead. I did ride the bike to Portland, I guess 1 1/2 years ago, but haven't put on many miles since then.

700 Euros isn't a bad price for a complete bike

For the bull horns, I'd prefer going with either reverse aero brake levers, or the bar-end reverse brake levers.

Parigi... Certo!!!

I suspect that's a Mavic "Bullhorn" bar. There are holes already pre-drilled on those bars to route the cables through, internally from the ends to near the stem. The small curved tubes at the ends if the bars are used to route the cables frombthe ends of the handlebar to the levers. These tubes with integrated hardware end caps were also sold by Mavic, to use with their Bullhorn bars. This is exactly the handlebar setup that had been considering to use on my Medici "Aerodynamic" funny bike.
I'm just a bit concerned if the small curved tubes at the lever has enough radius to keep the braking feel good to the calipers.
