Burlington, VT bike ferry reopens today

Storm damage has kept it closed until now. The Gov. will cut a ribbon this afternoon and service will resume.

thanks for sharing. really interesting bike trail. we stopped at the bike ferry (coming from Burly), but would like to go back on a warm summer day, make the crossing & explore South Hero. we did drive to Breakaway Farm further North on Grand Isle, for some horseback riding last fall

I started a tour from St. Albans to Philly in early June. Had a day off in Burlington and was disappointed to learn just before I headed up there that the causeway was closed due to storm damage. I had hoped to do at least an out and back to the gap.
