Yesterday was 2.5H of L2/3. Today was Terrible 20's. Hit the first and third, but the second I was a bit lazy on and fell off toward the end. Made up for it with the suffering on the third.

Resting. I've done 5 cross races in the last three weeks. And then I will have four from this Wednesday through next Wednesday. Which should be interesting.

There's supposed to be rain heading our way for the next few days so planned to get a couple hours on the mtn bike. However, my dog had hurt himself trying to get on the bed last night (he fell then couldn't put weight on one of his back legs) so I ended up spending time with him this morning making sure he could get around ok. Still got one hour on the trails in awesome cloudy weather with sprinkles!

My form is really good right now, and it's seriously confusing to me. I'm all, why do I feel so fresh? What am I doing wrong!?

Morning commute, some dog followed me 4 blocks, then tried to bite me. Big miles that won't make any sense to anyone but me planned after work. I guess I am what you would call a creature of habit.

did the The Morning Ride and ran into a fellow #groupridehero who I did not know. He tried to push me off a wheel and then got all worked up when I told him to **** off. About 3 minutes later he and another guy go up the road, get 15 seconds pretty quick. I tell the guys I'm with that I will go kill the move. I bridge up and sit 3rd wheel; I won't pull through. 2nd guy falls out. I sit 2nd wheel, he looks back and yells about me being soft or something. I tell him I'm not sure I want to work with him. He sits up, I attack. Solo the last 5 miles and hold off the field but 2 guys catch me about 250m from the "line" and dude gets the "w" and I'm stuck with 2nd. Everyone else is 20s back. I tell him good ride and then he proceeds to lecture me about etiquette and how he doesn't know me, etc... It just makes me smile and laugh. He says I shouldn't fight for wheels 25 places back. But.... he's fighting me for the wheel too! We're the same!
I ****ing LOVE that stuff IRL even more than I do on the forums. I don't know why, but I just get the giggles and it makes me want to mess with people. Anyway, after a little neutral bit they hit up a climb so I sat on his wheel until he sat down/eased and then I jumped and rode away. So much fun! #offseason

lol.
Is this the olden ex-pro guy that you're battling with?
edit: I guess that doesn't really narrow it down.. the guy who wears red & white and used to ride with lance?

We don't have a morning ride, but if we did I'd be a noshow because I'm lazy and wouldn't ride that early. But, that sounds a lot like our River ride...can't say I've been on one where an argument doesn't take place.

I'm not sure which Matt is referring to, but not directly that guy.
To you other dudes, please, nobody ever gets chirpy on your rides? What fun is that?

I can honestly say nobody ever gets "chirpy" on any of the group rides I do. There are 4 fast-ish group rides within 20 minutes of here, and they are all super friendly. There are 2 local rides that are more fredly and have more of a chirpy reputation, but I've never done those. AFAIK there are no local rides with fast chirpy guys.

50 minutes of Z4 in a 2 hour cross ride. Trying to claw back some FTP.
I really love riding my cross bike. It's too bad I'm so bad at dismounting, running, and all that stuff.
[edit] accidental KOM on the rail trail. I hate people who go fast on the rail trail. But there was nobody out today, honest!

Our Saturday ride is crazy. Everyone is on edge. It almost got shut down when a cyclist tossed a water bottle at a pedestrian. I don't really care for it but its the only off season hammerfest in the area. I get some of it is necessary but there's a lot of yelling for the sake of yelling.
