2002? Bianchi Brava
Not really classic or vintage I guess but anyway, I am looking at a 2002 (I think) 46cm Brava for sale, says excellent condition (I will of course look at it and also make sure it fits, I'm short). They are asking $425 and I think that might be high (?) so looking to get an idea on a reasonable offer.

The Bianchi brand is widely recognized, so that may be where the premium price is coming from.
Couple things:
- The bike's MSRP was $750 brand new
- Shimano Sora isn't as well-liked as other groups
Unless the bike is the size and color you really want, I'd hold out for another Bianchi (or similar) with higher grade components and a lower price.
$400 can buy you a lot of C&V goodness if you're patient.

Still learning
Sora equipped bikes can command low $300s. With a Bianchi premium, $350 is fmv.

Thanks. While I like the color okay and it should fit, I don't *need* the bike and the seller wasn't willing to come down on the price, so I'm passing. I don't often see bikes in my size though.
