Does the heavy wool long sleeve shirt feel better in 87° Texas humidity with or without cannon fire blowing up in your buddy's face?

Wow, wool in TX in late April . . . Wool does surprisingly well in hot weather but I'm with Patrick Henry on this, give me lycra or give me death,

After miles of riding, in a wool uniform, under the hot Texas sun, the brave Buffalo Soldier's only question was:

"Where da Buffalo Gals at?"

Any guesses on the bike brand, with dual top tubes and lovely chromed fork crown? Single front brake with non-cable actuation? Looks like a really nice head tube emblem too.

The subject bicycle has rod activated, stirrup brakes, front and rear. The rear brake is mounted under the chain stays. You can see the activation rod running under the down tube and the bell link on the left hand side of the head tube.

The bicycle is probably a modern, retro-styled, Asian manufactured model. I've seen several of them but don't recognize the particular head badge. Still, the bicycle style, even though it's retro, is anachronistic for the era depicted by the uniform.
