It is if it works for you. ISM's theory seems pretty sound. Don;t they offer a 30-day trial. If they don't, youmight be able to find on on Amazon Prime.

yes they are the finest saddle ive ever used....made for aero bar riding...not for the upright wind scooping position....

As mentioned, if it works for you they're worth it. Not all ISM models are meant for riding on aerobars, but their early models were definitely targeted toward that (hence their popularity in the tri community).

I bought their PL (performance long) model - more oriented to road bike than tri bike. It works ok for me, but not good enough so I'm going to sell it. It's a well made saddle and definitely feels different than anything else I've ridden - the biggest issue for me was that it pushed my legs out to wide and for some reason resulted in hamstring pain.

I have three of them and love them. I rode my first and only century on one. My bikes are non-aero. Find a dealer and do the demo. The relief channel reallly works well for me.
