Hopefully this will be easy. Introduction years of components/groups, please fill in the blanks and correct me if I am wrong. Add more groups/components too please up until tody if possible. I am well aware of the timeline but it seems thin to me in some places.

Record - 1958
Valentino - 1964
Nuovo Record - ???
Super Record - 1974
C-Record - 1985
etc.

hmm.. it's sort of hard to say, especially since things weren't always thought of in terms of 'gruppo'

i think the earliest Gran Sport rear derailleur was introduced ca. 1951 (those are the $6000 examples) but the classic version introduced 1952 with subtle changes following..

the Record crankset appears in 1958 but the front der. not until 1960 and the rear ca. 1963...

nothing is easy !
