Screw it I'm riding!!

Today looks just like yesterday : no clouds in the morning, temps in the 40's, no WIND. I made the mistake yesterday of thinking I'd ride in the afternoon after a meeting. By then it had clouded up - really gray. I'm signing off work and riding for an hour and a half. Its like a trip to the doctors; if I don't go then I'll really be sick.
For you Coloradons on the thread - hwy 119 1.5 miles to Gap Rd (gravel) a couple of mile to Mtn Base rd. Then 3.5 miles straight down to hwy46. 5 miles up to 119. then approx 5 miles back to the house.
Going to take the new PArlee and see how she does on these climbs and descents.
I just can't stand it any more!

That's the right attitude

I seem to have a very similar attitude toward work knowing I'll be retiring later this year.

The best time I had at a job was when I could ride at lunch time.
Enjoy the ride.

Ahhh yes and I am lucky. I also get to slip away to Eldora at lunch for the occassional (twice? three? times a week) skate ski during the winter. However, it does make me feel somewhat guilty and I do carry my pager with me. Damned thing has gone everywhere I go pretty much since 1998.
