new to the world.... have some questions
hey guys,
i just got a trek 420 and absolutely love it!!! but it seems like the rims are a little bent and the tires are cracking just a little bit. i dont think the tires will pop and i dont think that a bent rim will break in half hahh. my questions are
1. where can you get rims online for a little cheaper? what are the differences in between expensive rims and cheaper rims?
2. where can i find tires with a lime green walls? what are the differences in between expensive rims and cheaper rims?
any help will be appreciated!
thanks,
james1612

That's 4 questions, not 2.
FWIW: I like relatively cheap rims, like the Sun M13: https://www.comcycle-usa.com/ProductInfo.aspx?id=6389740 . However, I've been building bicycle wheels for 30 years. It takes a decent bike mechanic to build a wheel- it's not for beginners.
You'll also get a lot of advice on the Bicycle Mechanics forum. This is a forum for regional issues, while you're asking universal questions.
