9/7: 52.00mi- 3:19:07@15.7mph. Shooting for 15+mph & first time over 50mi in a single ride!

Slow start - let too many things get in the way of getting out, though I did some good distance on the times I did get out.

September 4 - 35.5 miles
September 6 - 3.4 miles
September 7 - 50.9 miles

MTD: 89.8 miles. Goal = 400. On pace for 384.

Shooting for my monthly average, which appears to be 500 miles and 25,000ft. This accursed weather is making it tricky.

Triple digit temps and dusty conditions at tonight's CX race. Love it. Heat doesn't bother me and took a sudafed mid-day and hit my asthma inhaler 15 minutes before race time. Worked wonders. Lungs didn't lock up from dust and legs kept churning. Had a good nite and put 13 miles on the odometer.

09/12 - 30 miles; Looks like only weekend rides for the next few months, lots of OT at work since my girlfriend just announced she's pregnant and my goddaughter just started school so that doesn't leave much time to ride during the week unless I start commuting again.

Another great day of CX racing today with many friends. Last two laps was trailing one of my good friends by 20 feet or so in the middle of the pack. We've raced many times together and sometimes he gets me, and sometimes it's the other way. Dug deep on the last run up for the pass. Was no where near the podium but a fun race. Afterward we retired to the beer gardens for a drink and a few laughs.

Added a dozen miles to this months total, bringing it up to 150 miles.
