"The Bianchi Code"
I recently got a new Bianchi 928 carbon, but noticed there were smaller numbers in front of the 928. It comes out to be 49 52 98. Was just curious if anybody knew what these meant? I'm guessing something to do with the different types of carbon used to make the frame.

This is the code that the US. government can trace you by. Under the Patriot Act, you are considered a terrorist threat because you ride a bike, a most unAmerican activity. Why aren't you driving places?

Hard to compete with some of the great answers above...good stuff.
One suggestion is send an e-mail to Bianchi and ask the significance of your serial number for your carbon Bianchi...quite a bike.

Anybody have any suggestions how to add some celeste to it? I've tried, but's it really tacky looking mixed with all the gold. (Bart tape, bottle cages, saddle, tires)

They have a right to be proud. But what about whoever made the bikes that were ridden to all three, the Giro, Tour and Worlds? We know Eddy must have been riding a De Rosa, right? But what about Stephen Roche?
