Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Nothing. Other than they're trying to be twice as something as Seven bikes.

Another picture of a piece of carbon fiber surrounded by marketing phrases such as 'highest modulus' and 'unidirectional'
And of course it is 'proprietary'
As long as they make sure to mark it up 1000x and list it for over $4,000 the 41 will be lining up to buy them.

Looks like their prices (according to Bikeradar) start at $2,200 for the frameset.

Translation: I know absolutely nothing about it except that it is made of carbon fiber, so I will emphatically declare its worthlessness.

Your odd hypothetical response surprised me until I noticed the first bike in your profile.
I obviously hit a nerve.

Using FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software, the composition of every angle and thickness was thoroughly tested. “The tubes were fit accordingly with the monobox and chain stay,” said Puck, “and we wanted to have a frame that was composed of 100% carbon fiber. The bottom bracket is also completely made out of carbon fiber.”
It's funny that they mention that the used FEA software on this frame. Every framebuilder does this to their frames if they have liability insurance.

What's up with the limpy looking top tube/head tube junction?

Other than that, I like the colors. They should sell them at Nashbar prices. People would buy them.

So you asked a reasonable but perhaps naive question, and you got a bunch of smartass editorials and even some side-arguments.

This is pretty typical around here. Don't take it personally.

I am pretty sure that no one here has experience with fourteen bikes btw.

List Of Bike Makers Is Endless, Choose Wisely From Brands With Longevity

They are relatively new to the scene. And that scene, micro brew bicycle “brands”, is saturated. I would be surprised if they have sold more outside of San Fran than inside at this point.

Look at the sticker on the front of the down tube and you see “Torayca T1200”.
Here is Toray Industries Torayca line of carbon. Look at the bottom of the table and you see that the 1200 carbon that they use.

Biggest hurdle for all these pop up bike brands is to answer the question of “why you”.
There are so many options for bikes, it’s hard to see what they offer that so many others don’t already from the big manufacturers and the smaller builders in the market now. Unless you just really like the colors. But, you can get that too from other sources who paint whatever you want at different price points.

Naieve, I don't think so. Just expected folks to comment if they have and not if they haven't.
