It's OK for the Puch and Trek. Not for Mo's bike.
Hey Mo - how long is your commute and do you ride in the winter?

Just to up the ti bikes in here so far, my new Lynskey. When they have their clearance sales, prices become very affordable.

Thank you!
It's one of those things that I really take a lot of time to make sure is right, and afterwards I take a lot of pride in.
It's even harder with the skinwall tires since there's a very distinctive visual reference so close.

Very happy, I’ve had these for about a year. They roll pretty smooth, and still true after lots of harsh gravel rides. Really wish I would have also jumped on the 650b Mercury had on CC for a while.

It has since been replaced by a Ti cage which came as part of the R3 deal.

I know that this is the Ti thread now and I've already violated the rules by posting some steel, but these all remind me of the bike I never should have sold.
I seriously think about this thing a few times a month.
2008 GT GTR Type CX. The sexiest aluminum frame I've ever seen in the flesh. Thinking how it would look with a more modern groupset just hurts
I've looked through my old emails and found the guy that I sold it to, but we never exchanged numbers, just talked through the Craigslist email system. I've seriously thought about trying to track him down and buy at least the frameset back from him.

I'm losing on the fenders. Can you get something less ugly? You've gotten suggestions.
What bar shape do you prefer or do you have a preferred bar? Great opportunity for matching stem/post/bars. Deda, Enve (will match fork), 3T.

We just realize ol MoAlpha isn't going to turf the fenders, so may as well get something that looks like it belongs on that bike, that isn't wood.

I'm drooling over Whyfi's and Slowgo's Cervelos, and now you guys are pushing titanium. I just got this email from Ribble who have a new ti model. Looks very interesting and pretty reasonable!
