I guess that wasn't fair - - I forgot about that aspect of it. I'll take that post down.

I don't have pics of it but I did find a toilet. Just sittin' there. In the middle of the trail.

These things are a landmark on one of our local trails. I call them the Three Amigos.

I'm not sure what the back story is really, but not only do people leave it alone, if anything happens to any of them (including the sombreros fading over time), they get fixed/replaced/rehatted. The amigos have been there since this trail was cut around 5 years ago. I love those guys!

Another landmark on an adjoining trail network to the one above. It's slowly turning into a stickerbomb. Eventually there'll only be stickers left.

This is not a picture, but a video. This was the strangest looking vehicle I've ever seen. It lands up it was a 3-wheeled motorcycle.

For some reason the stickers annoy me. Like the van is being disturbed in its natural habitat or something...

Christmas tree

It's gone now, but someone kept this Christmas tree nice and tidy for a couple of years.

No picture, but found a wod of cash on the bike trail last time I was out with a friend. Enough to buy us both beer and tacos!

No pic (wish I did take one!) but saw an older guy Saturday (5/7) on the Rivanna Trail sitting on a bench by the river wearing a SPOTLESS (its muddy all around, LOTS of rain lately) white suit, white shoes, white gloves, and purple top hat with a cane and rainbow colored feather boa. I see a lot of random stuff around Charlottesville,Va but that one really gave me a chuckle. He seemed to ask every guy that walked or rode by if they were single. He looked like a "pimp" if I ever saw one. It didn't really surprise me so much seeing him as it did where I saw him.

Never a dull moment in Albermarle County.

Found a "full suspension" walmart bike with a severely bent front rim in the middle of the trail. Thought about taking it home and putting on an extra front rim I had but ended up just dragging it to the side of the trail. Came back the next day and it was gone.
