Anyone willing to ride in this

https://cdn.cnn.com/cnnnext/dam/asse...-small-169.jpg

I am pretty sure the link is messed up. Just go to CNN. There will be a story 'Northeast preps for 3rd winter storm in the past 10 days'. Click on that link, and you will see a bunch of videos' in succession. Watch the one where the woman's nose is covered. It is in Siberia where it -50C(-58F). But watch the video very closely. at :20 you will see a cyclist on a road bike.

Gives' new meaning to the question, 'How was your ride today?'.

The video was about the weather. But I thought it was neat to find a biking diehard in the former USSR.

I was kind of referring to the footage of the half-naked folks taking a bath in the river...I mean, c'mon. They can't do that in -60. No way!!! As I said, fake news.

I haven't ridden at all this winter due to a newly lengthened commute (25 miles one way) and extended hours at work (running 12 to 14 hours now) - but when I had a 10 mile commute and saner hours, I went all winter long and as a challenge (on this site) went a full 18 months without driving to work once. Several of those days were at -20*F or lower (my thermometer only goes to -20). Just gotta dress for it.
At those temps though - you really need to work up to it and learn how to dress with very particular care, because at -20 a single bit of exposed skin can get frostbitten in a 30 minute ride.
