Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I could just quit taking it as I think it as I think it was more of a suggestion than an order. I know one thing, though. The last time, they put me on venlafaxine and I’m never doing that again. It took 7 years to get back off of it.

Venlafaxine is not a bad drug, but it’s VERY unforgiving of skipped doses, as I am sure you learned.

They never show halftime entertainment in the pros, except for the Super Bowl, and even then not the band.

No respect for bands. Sad.

Are those tall color guard flags part of their normal routine?

Got a ride in today. According to Strava, this is the first time I rode over 100 miles in a week (Ok, so like 19 were zwift) since August of 2016. Holy cow. Time and inactivity really sneaks up on you. Not that I plan on every week being a 100miler, but it was nice.

Yes. Brain tremors, upset stomach, etc. I knew by 11 AM if I missed a dose. It would start with a headache and upset stomach followed a couple hours later by brain “shakes.”

Finally, when I was in ICU on a ventilator in 2016, the hospital wasn’t giving it to me and I was on a fentanyl patch. When I left the hospital a couple weeks later with no withdrawal symptoms from the venlafaxine, that was the end of it. Of course, my family doctor worried about the 4 weeks of fentanyl but I had no problems weaning off of it and I was thrilled to be over the venlafaxine.

My oncologist says she won’t put me on it again, anyway.

So the home teams went 1-3 this weekend? Makes sense.

The Iggles are never going to invite the Golden Rams to perform again. Sad.

Pretty much a given that the Seahawks win away games. They're 4-4 home, 8-1 away!

You know who didn't lose their last home game? The Kennesaw State Owls, that's who.
